Update tax status

Switch to PlatinumPay or PPX

To update an employee federal, state or local tax status, including marriage status, withholdings, allowances, W4 version, dependents, work state, residence state, unemployment tax state, eligible work states, FLI exemption, disability exemption, etc:

  1. In the Employee tab, select the employee.

  2. Select Tax info. Click the pencil mark to edit the section you need.

  3. Save.
