If your SmartClock shows a black screen, it likely means the clock was accidentally put to sleep.
Using the Never Sleep settings can prevent this from happening:
- Press the power button on the left side of the clock to wake the clock back up and return to the clock entry screen.
- Follow the instructions for Never Sleep Mode.
- When the fingerprint reader is green, the clock has power and is operational.
